Artificial Jewellery

Artificial jewellery refers to personal ornaments that are made from non-precious materials, usually imitations of precious gemstones and metals. They are designed to mimic the appearance of real jewellery but at a more affordable price point. This type of jewellery has gained popularity in recent years due to its versatility and affordability.

One of the major emerging trends in artificial jewellery is the incorporation of computational technology. Silina and Haddadi (year) conducted a study on 187 jewellery-like devices and highlighted various technical features, use of materials, and interacting modalities that could be applied in the development of future computational jewellery devices.
